ASSESSMENT
Continuous (assignments, quizzes, projects) + end-term summative. Online-proctored till Y2; then online/offline per course. MTech finals offline at Guwahati. Supplementary exists — re-register or re-appear (75%+ attendance).

Ask a senior →Is this degree “equal” to a campus IITG degree?
Yes for recognition — same institute, convocation, physical certificate. No, for experience — you won’t get campus placements by default; you get the Career Cell + Coursera hiring solutions and our student placements prep instead.
Can I do this alongside a job / another degree?
That’s the design. Register 0–43 BSc credits/trimester (~18–20 hrs/wk full pace) or fewer MTech courses/trimester. Pay ₹6k (BSc) / ₹5k (MTech) continuation if you pause a trimester.
What if I fail a course?
Re-register fully, or re-appear for assessments only (if 75%+ attendance), or take the supplementary where offered. MTech has the same 75% rule.
Do I get to visit campus?
BSc: up to 4 weeks across 4 visits (hostel on you). MTech: required bursts — labs, capstone, offline trimester-end exams. 8GB RAM (BSc) / 16GB (MTech), webcam, Chrome, 1.5 Mbps down.
Why should I trust a student-run site?
